"Just a short stroll from Marble Arch, the Montcalm has an appropriate
air of calm, as does its Crescent Restaurant. The dining room,
overlooking the eponymous crescent, has light-coloured wood dado
panelling, a"country garden"mural on one wall, tables smartly
dressed in white linen, chairs that are armed and comfortable,
and waiting staff who are formally dressed and efficient."
